Here are some goal setting techniques for those with ADD or those working with an ADD child.

  • Identify a passion (goal).
  • Identify characteristics, talents, and attributes needed for achieving the goal.
  • List your strengths.
  • List characteristics you need to attain goal.
  • Choose characteristics to work on.
  • Find Mentors and trainers to assist you.
  • Look for a training partner.
  • Determine difficulties you may face and plan how to overcome
  • How will you evaluate progress?
  • Write a goal contract.
  • Affirmations for daily use.
  • Celebrate the process. Remember to enjoy the way not just the goal.
